Hey, guys! I never thought I’d be able to write another 100-worder. But surprise, surprise, I’ve somehow done it. Hope you find it as amusing as the last one.
It all began the day Elsie found a corpse in her bathroom. She was alone at home and horrified. Somehow she finally dialed 911 and told them about it. The deep-voiced officer at the other end asked her address and told her not to touch anything around the body. “You can be damn sure I won’t,” she said and gave him her address. “Okay, Mrs. Redwood, stay calm. We’ll be arriving shortly.”
At the other end of the line, the cyborg, still holding a gun to the cowering officer’s temple, hung up grinning at his droids. “Target confirmed dead, boys.”
You know one thing I hate about word limited stories is that they all are so intriguing. At the end of the story, all I want is more.
By the way, I nominated you for the Mysterious Blogger Award. Here’s a link on my blog for more information on it.

Oh my god. Thank you so much. I’m so honoured you considered this little workshop of ideas worth a nomination. Can I prepare a post relating to the award in a few days?
