Hundred-worders were never my thing until I joined WordPress. Then, I wrote a couple of them. Now, with two participations in Carrot Ranch’s Flash Fiction Challenge, (including this one), my formerly practically non-existent mini-fiction skills are getting some exercise. And the added benefit is that I’m blogging today although I have a Maths exam tomorrow. So, here we go:
If you’ve watched Stranger Things, you’d have grinned at the title. And nodded at the last sentence. And smirked at the last. And- okay, I need to stop doing this, because the title’s not really the question I wanted to ask.
I’m offended, y’all. It appears to me that not one of you read part 5. And look at poor old me, trying to be on schedule (and failing sometimes, but that’s not the point) and posting part 6 like a good girl. But you know what, I’m gonna continue this series even if none of you reads it. Because I like it and I enjoy writing it. Screw all of you.
In case someone does come here, I’m gonna leave the link to all the parts and you can scroll down to find the one you want: Killing the Creator.
Click on the appropriate link according to your reaction:
“Part 4? Why am I always the last one to know things?” Catch up now
“Oh yeah, I remember reading some stuff about fourth-wall awareness but I guess I just forgot about it after the beginning part.” Remember it now
“It’s been so effing long since you last posted, you little shit, that I’ve forgotten what happened.” Truly, I’m sorry, but drink your anger and click here
“I’m all caught up. Come to mama/papa, latest part.” Continue reading
Applaud for me, my friends. This time, I’m only three days late as opposed to a week like last time.
So if you read the title of this post and went ‘What? There’s a part 3? Wha- when did this happen?’ then here’s where you should head. If you didn’t react like that and merely missed the 2nd part for some reason, then this is for you. If you’ve been waiting for part 3 since the last week and want to gouge my eye out with a toothpick since I’m late every week, then keep that toothpick inside and obey the nice purple link. Read on…
Hey, everyone. *Nervous laugh* I’m really, sincerely, sorry for not posting last week. I know those of you who read the first part were really looking forward to the second one. And I have no reasonable excuse for this blunder except that I forgot.
But yeah, a humble apology is not all I have. Albeit a week late, strap yourselves in for the second part.
Tara had a psychic ability which was rare in Kliona. She was a dreambender. She could change people’s dreams for better or worse. But one day, a gentlemanly centaur came to her with an unusual request.
“I want you to merge my dream with reality, Miss Oneiro.”
